We are looking for a Gifting and Campaigns Manager who will work within our Client Engagement to create unique gifting and campaigns calendar for clients within Private Shopping. Working closely with other internal teams within Private Shopping and across the business, the role will focus on making memorable and impactful moments for our Private Shopping Clients.

About the Role

Within this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a 12 month gifting, experience and campaign calendar in partnership with Marketing, CRM, Insights and Private Shopping teams, ultimately to surprise and delight our new and existing clients.

You will oversee the delivery of the gifting and campaign strategy to maximise opportunities and retention, seek to build connections between clients and the service, with a consideration of value and potential at every possibility.

As a Gifting and Campaigns Manager, you will also focus on developing the team of Executives and Assistants and effectively leading through change. You will focus on creating an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel engaged and set up to do their best work with a focus on celebrating success and addressing challenges.

Other key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting on requests from Client Delivery team to support them in building strong relationships with clients.
  • Identifying and recommending gifting, experience, and campaign approach for different tier clients, appropriate to their value and headroom potential.
  • Responsibility for gifting budget to ensure that spend levels are appropriate.
  • Working with the CRM team to identify and deliver gifting opportunities for newly acquired clients. Identifying a strategic approach to select clients for campaigns and gifting.
  • Own and execute promotional activity across the CRM database, with a focus on unaffiliated touchpoints.
  • Continually exploring ways to keep offering fresh and elevated experiences and ensure top-tier execution to exceed client expectations.
  • Use reporting and insights to measure success – identifying where best ROI sits.
  • Brief the creative teams and third-party suppliers on the design and creation of luxury invitations and collateral that demonstrate high and elegance VVIC status. Collaborate with key stakeholders and external partners such as postal, mailing, and creative suppliers to manage the planning and execution of exclusive activations within the VVIC programme calendar.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You

To be successful within this position, we are looking for proven experience in a luxury, client focused role, specifically dealing with UHNW individuals, and having a strong understanding of different client makeup – considering cultural awareness, appropriateness, and meaningful connection with different client groups.

You will also have experience within gifting and managing campaigns; able to be creative with concepts and ideas for our clients within Private Shopping.

You will also:

  • Have experience and passion for managing and developing a team.
  • Be proactive and reactive to clients requests, whilst having a thoughtful approach to deliver the best possible offering for clients, creating a truly unique experience to drive loyalty.
  • Have a strong commercial acumen – an interest in data and insights to identify best approaches.
  • Be able to communicate and work alongside other departments within Harrods, and external suppliers.
  • Have a strong understanding of Client Engagement and Client Acquisition.
