Our Retail Operations department is looking for an individual that will be part of a team that looks to protect the Harrods brand from risk, reputational and financial damage. Through detailed analysis and monitoring of data and trends, you will look to find areas of non-compliance and work to put processes in place to mitigate the risk going forward. Your good working knowledge of current law and legislation will enable you to spot issues and advise Retail departments of best practise.

You will support Retail Operations Manager with ensuring that the Retail teams are maintaining and following policy, procedure and legislation. Investigating and reporting on areas of concern when found, and providing information to other internal departments in the business to ensure complete relevant follow up.

About You

A strong customer service individual who will deal with both internal and external parties with the ability and willingness to multi-task, in a fast-paced office environment as well as excellent time-management skills with the power to balance, short, medium and long term planning.

You will report on, monitor and analyse Retail Compliance KPIs to ensure Retail departments act in line with policy, procedure and legislation whilst spotting trends or concerns. You will hold training sessions with Retail staff to keep their compliance knowledge up to date.

Building relationships with Retail and Senior Management to support their team’s ability and understanding of complying with policy, procedure and legislation and keeping up to date knowledge of relevant law and legislation including, but not limited to, AML regulation and GDPR.

Previous experience in a Compliance based role is preferable.
