Safe Deposit Associate

This is a unique opportunity to join our fantastic team of Safe Deposit Associates. This role is responsible for providing an exceptional level of service in a discreet luxury environment, ensuring the customers needs are exceeded to the best of our ability.

About the role

This Retail Operations Associate role is working in the Harrods Safe Deposit. This team works in the oldest part of the store, dating back to 1896, it is full of history. Behind the Victorian three-ton steel entrance door lies first-class security surveillance equipment, including electric gates, solid steel walls and alarms. 

You will work with within a team with your main tasks being granting customers access to their Safe Deposit facility, completing applications with potential customers, carrying out customer due diligence for potential customers and obtaining outstanding payments from clients.

Your responsibilities will also include, engaging with clients and building their trust in the Harrods brand on a day to day basis. Remaining vigilant and aware of Anti Money Laundering (AML) legislation at all times will be a key part of the role.

About You

Previous experience in banking/with AML processes is preferred but not required. Your approach will be flexible, with a readiness to adapt to changing priorities, ensuring customer experience is at the forefront of decision making. You will have an ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance, as well as an ability to build a relationship with individual clients and create a bespoke experience for them.
