SAP is core to the running of the Harrods IT processes for the business workstreams.  Currently running SAP ECC6, SAP CAR & SAP EWM solutions, with a plan to upgrade to S/4HANA soon.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to deliver Business change initiatives in the SAP systems, by designing, developing, maintaining and supporting solutions.  Always adhering to industry best practices, whilst working to a common application strategy.

The role is responsible for the SAP configuration across all modules of the SAP ERP platform and integration requirements.  Work is allocated to each Analyst depending on skillsets and workload availability .

The SAP Analyst position will report directly to a SAP Lead Analyst O2C within the SAP IT function. The role will be to contribute to the overall design, configuration and day-to-day support of the SAP ECC, SAP CAR & SAP EWM solutions.  They will participate in the delivery of business change initiatives by designing, developing, maintaining and supporting the solution, always adhering to industry best practice whilst working to a common application strategy to ensure SAP functions run efficiently and effectively.

Within the role you will work with the wider IT Teams as well as business stake holders and SAP themselves, to ensure that the services provided through SAP are the right quality to serve the business needs, and to ensure value is delivered from the SAP solutions.

This role will include an on-call rotation and occasional weekend/overnight work.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in developing and supporting SAP modules, including SD, MM, WM, FI/CO, EWM, CAR (UDF, MPR), SAP IS-Retail. You will have experience with SAP ABAP programming, CDS views/AMDP, UI5/HTML5/Fiori App development, Postman/SOAPUI, JAVA Script,  WebService/RFC’s, and SAP Workflow.

Further to this, you will have experience in both support and project delivery (ITIL, Prince 2, or verifiable experience). You will be a committed and highly professional individual, willing to take ownership of problems and provide workable solutions. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills along with an ability to influence outcomes in an effective manner.
