The Senior Food Safety Specialist will implement, monitor and manage compliance with legislation and Brand Standards relating to food safety, legality and integrity of Harrods set up and launches of new restaurants and concessions, internally and externally as well as promoting a positive food safety culture within the team.

About You

You will have a degree in Food Safety/technical, Environmental Health, Food Safety and Quality Management or equivalent. You will have, as a minimum, working knowledge of local authority and other enforcement agencies (IEHO desirable) pertaining to food safety. Generally, we are looking for strong food safety knowledge relevant to restaurants operations. We will be looking for experience in HACCP development and management (L3 HACCP is desirable). Good PC literacy is essential (Word, Excel and preferably SAP).

Some weekend working will be necessary on a rota basis (approx. 1 in every 6 weeks), with time off given back in lieu, so some degree of flexibility is essential.
