We are seeking a talented Social Content and Videographer with brilliant ideas and technical expertise to create authentic, engaging, social-first content that amplifies our employer brand.
About the Role
As a Social Content and Videographer, you’ll play a key role in elevating the content across our core employer brand social channels, focusing on Inclusion & Wellbeing, Rewards & Benefits, and collaborating with teams across the business. From conception to flawless execution, you will produce dynamic content that builds connection, engagement, and belonging, all while supporting the strategic business priorities. You’ll have the opportunity to measure the success of your work and consistently come up with fresh ideas to optimize content effectiveness. Your work will showcase life at Harrods, supporting our ongoing campaigns and social media presence.
Responsibilities will also include:
• Storytelling through video and multimedia content to engage talent beyond Harrods.
• Delivering trending video content that aligns with marketing and content objectives.
• Managing social media posts and community engagement, primarily on Instagram.
• Developing creative ideas, from concept development and storyboarding to production and final execution.
• Collaborating with the Digital Content Specialist to maintain and update the Employer Brand content calendar.
About You
You will be a creative force, with a passion for crafting compelling social content that resonates with diverse audiences. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders to bring fresh ideas to life. You’re comfortable measuring the impact of your work, using data to refine and enhance content strategies. A strong technical skillset combined with a passion for storytelling will enable you to capture and produce content that is both impactful and engaging.
You will also have:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Experience with advanced video recording equipment, such as the Canon C70
• A portfolio of work demonstrating your video production and editing skills (student or in-house projects)
• Familiarity with TikTok trends and ability to repurpose content for Instagram
• A deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
