We are hiring for a Stockroom Assistant to join our City Road team.

As a Stockroom Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth product flow throughout the studio photography process. You will take ownership of the intake of stock within our Studio, taking in deliveries and returning out going deliveries through an external courier.

About the Role

Our Stockroom Assistant works closely across our internal teams (Distribution, Production and Buying) to accept product deliveries into The Studio, including samples and concession products - once imagery has been short, they will work with said teams to ensure the product gets back to its rightful place.

You will be a key liaison for the external courier company, ensuring timely deliveries and carrying out damage checks on receipt of goods. Working with a variety of different stock, you will be in charge of packing and unpacking product deliveries, securely and carefully, accurately tracking product movement across both stock management and studio management software.

Your duties will also include:

  • Maintaining a tidy work environment throughout the day
  • Uploading product details onto the database.
  • Communicating with the studio floor, production and exterior stock teams to ensure the most efficient turnaround of stock within the studio process.
  • Highlighting and resolving any systematic stock queries in a timely fashion.

About you

The ideal candidate will have experience in handling stock, either in a warehouse or retail environment. You will use to managing stock flow in line with deadlines and timeframes.

You will also:

  • Be good with numbers with strong computer literacy.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Have the ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Openness to admit mistakes.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven.
