We are looking for a Store Development Graduate to join the Technical Store Development team here at Harrods, working on a dedicated 2 year rotational programme, amongst our brilliant multi-disciplinary Store Development team.   

About the Role 

As the Store Development Graduate, you will part of the brilliant Technical Store Development team.  They have a vastly knowledgeable back catalogue of experience; you can combine their expertise with your theoretical learnings.   

You will develop an understanding of the complexities of project delivery in a live retail environment while acting with diligence to ensure the safety of colleagues and the general public. You will work directly with brand stakeholders, holding them to account and negotiating for key project particulars. 

You will focus on beauty projects, working on both Harrods Masterplan build & infrastructure works as well as brand/concession funded projects. You will guide beauty brands in their design and construct beautiful shop fit-outs in accordance with legislation and Harrods-specific standards of design and construction. From Dior multi-faceted takeovers to Loewe Lifestyles shop fit-outs, you will work with many luxury brands within our beautiful Beauty Halls.   

About You 

We are looking for somebody who thrives in challenging situations and is innovatively holistic in their approach to problem solving, having confidence in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and brand ambassadors.  You will be somebody who proactively seeks to gain an understanding and an appreciation of the wider business. 

You will also: 

  • Be professionally qualified in a Construction-related degree, ideally building surveying or architecture and accredited, but not essential. 
  • Have a good knowledge of CDM 2015 and statutory obligations. 
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be willing to learn. 
  • Highly diligent and strong organisational skills.
