Studio Manager

The design team is looking for a Studio Manager that will report to the Design Manager, the Studio Manager will provide seamless administrative and operational support to the Management team and broader Design team across a range of areas, including studio management, team coordination, reporting, administration and operations. The Studio Manager will develop an understanding of the needs of the department to ensure the smooth running of the Studio office and Front of the House.

About You

You will manage internal, client and third party meetings including suppliers, consultants and contractors; booking rooms, organizing equipment and catering where required as well as organising design reviews and R&D sessions for the Design Team. You will support the Head of Interior Design and Design Manager with proofreading and response correspondence as required.

You will support the team to ensure the successful rollout of businesswise initiatives including HR, IT, L&D, GDPR and other aspects as may be required and communicate clearly, confidently and in a professional manner at all levels both internally and externally.

You will prepare the Harrods Interior Design Welcome Pack and oversee the onboarding, induction and training of new hires into the Studio and manage the team calendar, reviewing leave requests against the project calendar to avoid clashes and ensure appropriate cover; ensure working locations are monitored to avoid overcrowding and to monitor Hybrid working arrangements.
