We are looking for a Styling Assistant to join our Creative Operations team here at Harrods. You will be vital in supporting a strong team of Stylists to execute all ecommerce model shoots, ad hoc projects and creative content shoots.
About the Role
As a Styling Assistant at Harrods, you will report into our Senior Stylists and work closely with members of the Styling team to prepare for our e-commerce fashion shoots. The focus for this role will be ensuring that every aspect of our shoots run smoothly and efficiently, with support from Styling Leads and Senior Stylists, from organising the fashion wardrobe and dressing models to prepping items and keeping check of all products coming through the Studio.
You will be preparing product ready for shoots, ensuring proper procedures are adhered to. You will be learning and understanding on-set standards and styling guidelines for all categories. You will be upkeeping and coordinating Styling wardrobe and kit, taking care and consideration for all products and equipment.
You will also:
- Process daily stock loan requests, using in-house stock loan system.
- Maintain knowledge of luxury brands, seasonal trends and customer archetypes.
- Communicate and work effectively with all Studio teams: Styling, Photography, Production, Copy and Stock
About You
As the Styling Assistant, you will have strong communication skills and great attention to detail. You will be experienced in assisting and prepping for e-commerce and editorial fashion shoots, and be fashion and luxury retail literate, with a good understanding of brands and seasonal trends. You will have a proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to multi-task.
You will also:
- Be adaptable to different sets and demands that are necessary in supporting the Styling Team in developing our in-house aesthetic, influencing the Harrods.com shopping experience.
- Understand the demands of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Have good knowledge of essential software, particularly Microsoft 365.
