About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering projects and business change initiatives on time, within budget, and in line with governance standards. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation and discovery through to build, deployment, and hypercare ensuring integrated plans, risk management, and strong cross‑functional alignment.

You will work closely with Procurement, IT, Buying & Merchandising, Retail, and wider Supply Chain teams, reporting to the Solutions & Transformation Manager. You will also manage a Project Coordinator, providing day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and development to support high‑quality project delivery.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional project teams across the full lifecycle, ensuring resource plans, priorities, and workloads are effectively managed.
  • Own all financial aspects of project delivery, including cost estimates, CAPEX and OPEX forecasting, tracking actuals, and maintaining financial accuracy.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation such as Business Cases, PIDs, Change Requests, Project Plans, and Closure Reports.
  • Deliver business change activities including impact assessments, training plans/materials, and adoption/readiness outputs to ensure benefits are realised.
  • Build and maintain clear, proactive communication plans for sponsors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support benefits realisation activity alongside the Solutions Manager to ensure projects meet defined outcomes.

Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role. This role is hybrid, 3 days in office per week. Primarily based in Hammersmith with occasional work in Thatcham and Knightsbridge.

About You

You will be an experienced and confident Project Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is motivated by delivering structured, high‑quality change. You bring a blend of strong governance capability and the adaptability required to manage a varied portfolio of 6–9‑month projects, supporting multiple stakeholders and operational teams.

You will bring:

  • Several years of end‑to‑end project delivery experience, ideally in a business‑focused or supply chain environment.
  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM, PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Proven experience working with cross‑functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, and confidence in presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working within structured project governance frameworks.
  • A flexible, collaborative mindset and willingness to support wider initiatives as required.
  • Ability to balance structure with adaptability, ensuring effective delivery in a dynamic environment.

Experience in IT project delivery is beneficial but not essential; technical depth is not required, but strong partnering with IT stakeholders is.
