At Harrods we’re in the midst of a change that our business hasn’t seen before.  Our Retail offering is evolving as we grow our omni channel approach and your role as the team leader under the Centralised Stock Operations umbrella plays a critical part in the new direction the ecommerce strategy within Knightsbridge. This is a pivotal role working alongside colleagues store wide across multiple departments and divisions to manage, sustain and exceed delivery timeframes within the service level agreement we hold with our online customer base.

This is an opportunity to establish, build and utilise an internal network within the store and across the distribution chain. You will be proactive in building knowledge of this chain and understanding what part each division plays in its support of Harrods online. You will liaise with stake holders to achieve delivery dispatches and minimise out of stocked orders, contributing to the maintenance of stock integrity across the floors.

About you.

You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal forms. You’ll be a genuine “people person” with a passion for helping others learn and grow.  You get a kick out of helping your team members succeed. You should be able to work flexible hours and days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role, as well as, be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with urgent requests. Numerical, literacy and communication skills are essential.

In addition, you’ll also:

  • Have experience of working in an energized environment in this fast-paced role with strong systems knowledge.
  • Be accustomed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • You’ll need a keen eye for detail, always ensuring issues are resolved and communicated to your colleagues and management.
  • Having background in using SAP and Office would be essential.
  • Keen on developing a strong network instore will be key to ensure you succeed in the role.
