We’re looking for a Production Technical Manager to join our in-house Production Kitchen at Harrods. This is your opportunity to lead a passionate, award-winning team and play a key role in delivering exceptional quality within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and legal compliance across our production kitchens. With a focus on continuous improvement and our aspiration to achieve BRCGS accreditation by 2027, you’ll shape robust procedures and drive technical excellence throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining food safety policies, HACCP plans, and allergen risk management.
  • Overseeing audits, resolve non-conformances, and champion continuous improvement.
  • Providing technical expertise for NPD and monitor product quality.
  • Coaching, developing, and motivating the technical and QA teams while building strong stakeholder relationships.

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Knightsbridge location, working five days per week. Flexibility is key, as occasional weekend work may be required to support business needs.

About You 

We’re looking for a confident leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for food safety to help us deliver excellence in every product.

You will also have:

  • Degree in Food Safety or equivalent industry experience, with solid knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
  • Proven technical expertise from a manufacturing background, including HACCP development and management (Level 3 HACCP required).
  • Effective people management skills with the ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to Harrods values, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
