Uniquely You, #TogetherHarrods isn’t just a celebration — it’s a tribute to the amazing people who bring Harrods to life every single day. It’s about embracing what makes each of us different and finding the true strength that comes from standing together, just as we are.

Through This Is Me, we open up and share the stories that shape us — where we’ve come from, what we’ve faced, and the moments that have made us who we are. We honour the quiet strength, the beautiful mix of backgrounds, the laughter, the loss, the resilience — and we celebrate our colleagues who proudly say, “This is Me,” showing up as their true selves with courage and pride.

James

We started up this series during London Pride 2022 with James, our wonderful Group Marcomms Manager, who talks about growing up gay, our LGBTQ+ network and his proudest moments.

Blair

Blair works in our Security team. Prior to joining Harrods, she was a former Police Officer. In this video, she shares her story of experiencing Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and how it built her into the person she is today.

Kalbir

Kalbir Bains is a Retail Manager in Beauty. Growing up she struggled with dyslexia and found it difficult to speak up about it. Recently she was also diagnosed with hard of hearing.

In this video, she shares how important it was for her to get support and how it changed her life.

Hybrid at Harrods

At Harrods, we understand that every role is different. That’s why our approach to hybrid working is flexible. Some colleagues are fully on-site, while others split their time between the office and home – this is what we call ‘Hybrid’.

We believe in the value of coming together to connect, collaborate and learn, while also appreciating the benefits of focused work from home. Most hybrid roles involve being on-site at least three days a week, depending on business needs.
