Our team of HR Business Partners play a significant role at Harrods, partnering with senior leaders to build and implement people plans to enable the effective delivery of their functional business strategies.

The Associate HR Business Partner will support the HR Business Partner in the building and delivery of the Strategic People Plan for a defined group of stakeholders.

About the Role

This role plays a key part in the delivery of the HR strategy to “enable the business and our colleagues to do their best work”.  Through forging strong stakeholder relationships and the delivery of strategic people initiatives as well as resolving key blockers and capitalising on new opportunities, you will support the realisation of the overall People Plan as well as cyclical HR activity (Pay, Talent, Performance etc).

You will collaborate across the business to support and advise on strategic people matters, with a focus on enabling the business to perform successfully, balanced with professional challenge to ensure this performance is done in the right way.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is service focussed and who deeply cares about creating the best working environment for our people.

About You

To succeed in this role you will have a passion for delivering high standards of service and enabling others to do their best work.

You’ll have proven experience in building credible and trusting relationships with stakeholders and will have the ability to influence a variety of people across the business at all levels to deliver the People Plan, along with the ability to identify risk (for example employment law, project timelines) with strong business acumen.

We would expect you to have a genuine interest in the Luxury Retail industry as well as new and developing HR trends in order to stay current, offering effective and relevant advice. You’ll have previous HR experience, or experience in leadership, able to deliver a flexible approach managing and coping with ambiguity.
