Our Private Shopping division is now looking for a Brand Engagement Manager to build and nurture best-in-class relationships with our luxury brand partners. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence product access, shape unique client experiences, and contribute to Harrods’ ambition of becoming the world’s number one destination for luxury private shopping.
About the Role
As a Brand Engagement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting clients with the most desirable products and experiences, while also supporting brand loyalty and commercial growth. Working closely with the Brand Engagement Lead, buying teams, and marketing, you’ll design a structured approach to brand collaboration that ensures our most valuable clients (VVICs) have priority access to exclusive collections, experiences, and activations.
You will be the face of Private Shopping Brand Engagement on the shop floor and with brand teams, acting as a trusted partner who can deliver outcomes that benefit both Harrods and our luxury brands. From managing trunk shows and activations to ensuring predictive insights are used to influence product buys, you’ll help shape a seamless brand experience that delivers against the needs of both clients and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing strong relationships with luxury brand partners and internal stakeholders
- Using client insights and predictive analytics to influence buying cycles and ensure access to upcoming collections and exclusives
- Acting as the main point of contact for brand-related product requests and activations
- Managing logistics for trunk shows, activations, and Penthouse events, liaising with VM, Security, Retail and Events teams
- Ensuring client-facing teams are kept up to date with look books, collateral and training to support sales success
- Designing feedback and reporting mechanisms to track ROI and client impact following brand activations
- Anticipating client needs by staying on top of market trends and luxury lifestyle innovations
- Supporting commercial objectives by aligning product access and brand experiences to drive client spend and retention
About You
You’ll be a credible, commercially minded professional with proven experience in luxury, ideally within a VVIC or private client environment. With exceptional relationship-building skills, you’ll be trusted to navigate complex negotiations and ensure both clients and brands see Harrods as their partner of choice.
You will:
- Have strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Bring a deep understanding of the luxury client lifestyle and demographics
- Be data-driven, confident using insights and reporting to influence decision-making
- Be collaborative and adaptable, with excellent judgement and high levels of integrity
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and confidence in delivering measurable outcomes
- Ideally speak a second language to support international client engagement
