Business Intelligence Developer

The Business Intelligence Developer reports directly to the Business Intelligence Manager, within the Data Analytics organisation.  The role will get involved in all aspects of developing and maintaining an Enterprise Data Warehouse and producing data visualisation and reporting solutions.  They will be responsible for analysing requirements,  modelling a modern, flexible and robust BI environment to support agile Visualisation.  They will work with the Business Intelligence Analysts, the Data Engineers, the Master Data Management function, as well as the business stake holders, to ensure data is of the right quality and granularity and serves the business needs.   They will also act as a point of contact with one or more lines of business areas.

Harrods’ IT comprises technologies that provide services to support our luxury store in Knightsbridge, London and our Harrods.com website, as well as our wider Retail, Sales, Buying, Distribution, Fulfilment and Corporate functions. The IT services are supported by a mix of in-house technology teams and 3rd party technology partners.

About You

You’ll have demonstrable experience in working with BW and BW4/HANA. You’ll have development experience of visualisation  including SAC, AFO, BO. You’ll have demonstrable experience of creating and maintaining Queries, including CKF / RKF. You’ll have experience of Architecting and Modelling data warehouses on BW.

You’ll have exceptional Communication skill, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation and stakeholder management.  You'll have experience of working in an agile, fast paced environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in priority, and a focus on continuous deployment
