We are currently recruiting for a Buying Admin Assistant to join our Harrods Signature team (own label). This BAA role joins our Bags and Accessories team. 


The role of the Buying Admin Assistant is to assist in the development of the product proposition to ensure the department strategy is achieved as well as providing vital administrative support to the buyer and assistant buyer.

About you
The Buying Admin Assistants in our Signature Team are responsible for admin across the category, including article creation, vendor creation, managing critical paths as well as running weekly sales reports and visual best seller lists for the weekly trade meetings. You will have a keen interest in our product offering across our Signature (own label) Bags & Accessories.


As a key point of contact in the team, you will manage the take ownership of sample management whilst assisting the buyer and assistant buyer with product development. This calls for a high level of organisation and exceptional communication and relationship building skills. Ad hoc, you may also be involved domestic travel to supplier meetings and trade shows you will need to be happy to do this as the business requires.


You will also possess:

  • Good PC literacy
  • Strong customer service focus when dealing with both internal and external parties
  • An interest in product development and developing your career in Buying
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task
  • Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Harrods values.
  • Ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance
