Our Digital, Customer & Strategy team is looking for a Customer Insight Analyst.

Combining customer insight and the latest technology, the Digital, Customer & Strategy team is dedicated to providing future and current customers with an unparalleled luxury shopping experience; starting from discovery and inspiration, we enable customers to become loyal ambassadors. Leveraging attribution data acquired and analysed across a diverse range of digital touch-points, we work closely with internal and external partners to develop and optimise commercially-focused operating models.

About the Role

Reporting into the Senior Customer Analytics Manager, you will perform exploratory analysis, owning customer reporting and scoping customer data requirements with other internal teams to drive projects forward. The business will consult with you to discover insight and receive suggestions that are realistic, actionable, and measurable.

Using your communication, presentation and delivery skills, you will story-tell your findings, partner closely with internal stakeholders and build key relationships.  Additionally, using your analytical and commercial skills, you will support internal clients in understanding our customers and identifying opportunities which will deliver a business benefit or improve our customer experience.

With your technical and analytical expertise, you will demonstrate a real understanding of how to translate business trends, challenges and opportunities into customer-centric solutions, keeping in mind the business opportunities and risks, and you will have no problem breaking down big problems in order to tackle them.

About You

You are a confident communicator, able to bring people on a journey with you and get them excited about the data you work with.  You will be curious and want to seek out solutions and have experience using large volumes of data.

You will also have:

  • Ideally, but not essentially, a degree or advanced education in a statistics or economics related subject.

  • Experience using customer or consumer data (Transactional, CRM, viewing, etc.)

  • Essential - ability to code in one or more languages such as SQL, R or Python. Depending on your level, further training can be provided.

  • Familiar with data visualisation tools (Excel, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and data manipulation software.

  • Excellent time-management skills, and flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Retail or luxury experience preferred but not essential.

  • Experience using MMM – not essential but useful if this is of interest to you.
