We are looking for a talented Digital Content Editor to join the Harrods Creative Content team. The Digital Content Editor is responsible for overseeing the content creation for harrods.com, email marketing, social media, sponsored content and the Harrods app. The role manages a team of writers covering fashion, food and home as well as copywriters responsible for functional and promotional copy.

As Editor, you will be responsible for daily publishing approvals, ensuring a timely and consistent flow of content across all digital channels while maintaining the Harrods voice of authority as a trusted expert and guide for our customers. Under the direction of the Head of Digital Content and in partnership with the Digital Content Manager and Social Media Manager, this role will lead digital content ideation across all marketing briefs – providing comprehensive channel plans.

About you.

You must be able to seek ways to optimise digital content and continually improve conversion and engagement metrics. As being a natural communicator, you’ll be well organised and confident in prioritising a busy workload. You should be excited by best-in-class content executions across the luxury retail and hospitality landscape, tabling creative and innovative ways to story-tell in this space. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise on a daily basis with several teams within the business, including creative production, marketing, trade and media sales. You’ll have knowledge about how data and insights can inform content optimisation strategies. You’ll have great leadership skills in order to manage a team of six writers and an extended team of content producers.
