The Finance Operations Team at Harrods are looking for a Finance Operations Assistant to support their accounts payable and accounts receivables function. You will report into the Accounts Payable Assistant Manager and be based in our Hammersmith offices.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home.  


About the Role

The Finance Operations Assistant will be involved in accounts payable functions such as  invoice processing, payment runs and preparing bank transfer information. From an accounts receivable perspective this role will involve payment allocations, invoice reconciliation, general ledger processing, process month end tasks, debt collection and commission processing and reconciliation.

In this role you will also liaise with freight  forwarders and couriers’ to verify and process invoices. Furthermore, you will also communicate regularly with customers to ensure payments are accurately allocated. You will also respond to any and all queries sent by internal or external customers to the finance operation inbox and resolve them efficiently in a timely manner.

About You

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and be passionate about developing a career in this field.


You will also:-

  • Be able to work independently and have a high level of initiative
  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
  • Have the willingness learn and adaptable to change;  
  • Have strong time-management skills and the ability to multi-task;
  • Have strong PC literacy (MS Office).
