We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Packing Coordinator to join our team at Harrods. This role offers a great opportunity to learn or further develop existing skills.

About the Role 

The role of the Food Packaging Coordinator is to deliver cost savings, continuity of supply, risk mitigation, and streamline processes. You will be accountable for data-driven decision making, focusing on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. This role is vital in ensuring the continuity of the supply of packaging items across Food, Restaurants and kitchens.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring that necessary supplies are obtained efficiently and available to the relevant end users. You will be providing vital administrative support to the Retail, Food, Kitchen, and Restaurant teams. You will be managing the order processing, vendor management, trouble shipments, invoice queries, and special order processes as well as running scheduled and ad-hoc reports for evaluation.

About You

As the Food Packaging Coordinator, you will have a mindset of continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to optimise processes. You will work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and effectively share insights. You will have clear and transparent communication with both internal teams and external suppliers. You will have meticulous attention to detail in procurement processes, documentation, and quality control.

You will also have:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Clear and transparent communication with both internal teams and external suppliers
  • Proficiency in sourcing materials, goods and services from various suppliers
  • Skills in analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Understanding of inventory management principles
  • Effective time management to handle multiple procurement tasks, prioritise orders, and meet deadlines
