Furniture Planning and Interior Styling Manager

The Furniture Planning & Interior Styling Manager is the primary client contact and brand ambassador for Harrods Interior Design, responsible for networking and building key relationships across the business and externally, in order to promote Harrods Interior Design and its services.  

The FP&IS Manager is responsible for providing a clear vision and leadership for the Furniture Planning and Interior Styling Services, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of both services. They are responsible for the delivery of strategic objectives and commercial targets, ensuring the team consistently deliver projects to Harrods Interiors Design standards, working closely with the Design Manager to align and build collaborative relationships across all the services and teams within HID.

About You

You will be accountable for owning and driving their own area to exceed business expectations whilst demonstrating exceptional leadership to inspire and nurture a team by flexing their own style as appropriate. You will be accountable for promoting a positive and inclusive attitude with other departments across the business. In particular By Appointment, Private Service Suite, Harrods Estates and the Home Retail Team.

You will actively stay up-to-date and informed of the latest design trends through trade show attendance and supplier training and be accountable for the technical execution of design presentations, applying practical knowledge of AutoCad and Adobe Creative Suite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the business the current and future sales forecasts and identifying and following through with strategic business opportunities.
