Green Team

The iconic Green Team who man Harrod’s famous doors in the recognisable green uniform are looking for a Green man or woman to join them. They provide a ‘wow’ experience for our guests and provide the highest level of customer service through greeting and giving a positive and memorable customer experience to all of our customers. 

About the Role

Being a member of the Green Team means being a brand ambassador, welcoming all of our customers who visit and being both their first and last point of contact. This role acts as an aid to the customer’s journey and their overall experience of the store.

You will promote all services in store to customers including the Harrods Rewards Programme and in-store restaurants, and keep customers informed of the world of Harrods.

This role is shifts across 4 days per week and is based fulltime on the doors in Harrods Knightsbridge.

In return, you'll receive an annual salary of £28,875, 22 days' holiday, your birthday off, up to 33% Harrods discount (including our restaurants'), plus joining our generous pension scheme. 

About You

You will emanate pride for Harrods and have the drive to go above and beyond for our customers, having a can-do and positive outlook is key to this role.

You will also have a warm and genuine aura, which shall add to the Harrods experience. You will be positive and enthusiastic, ensuring that customers enter and leave the store feeling special. You will also need: 

• Excellent communication skills, ensuring that you can liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders alike. 
• A warm and engaging personality, which radiates when welcoming customers into the store. 
• A desire to learn local area and business knowledge, including, but not limited to, bus routes, restaurants and street names.
• Previous experience working as a concierge, a doorman or in a front of house role. 
• A passion for the world of Harrods!
