The Marcomms Assistant within the Project Delivery Team is responsible for supporting the Marcomms Executive in the planning and creation of cross divisional campaigns and projects working with other members of the Brand Experience team, in particular the Performance Marketing Team and the Creative Production Team.

This individual will be expected to nurture strong connections and knowledge of the wider creative and media landscape to the benefit of the business to effectively support the Project Delivery Team, in campaign planning, ideation and execution.

Principal Accountabilities

 Work with the Marcomms Executive(s) and Marcomms Planning Manager to understand the needs and objectives of the project briefs in line with our wider Customer Strategy and assist in any administration required to execute this.

 Responsible for supporting across multiple projects at any one time.

 Work with the Marcomms Executive to ensure all project documentation and trackers are up to date.

 Collating/scanning/saving all assets (marketing, press coverage etc.) and supporting on the preparation of wrap up documents.

 Day to day administration duties including booking meetings, compiling agendas and taking meeting minutes.

 Regular reporting of the Marcomms strategy, which will include completing relevant and appropriate reports and documents.

 Assist the Project Delivery Team and Events team to organise and deliver Customer/Brand Events and Retail Theatre.

 Develop strong working relationships with counterparts internally in order to deliver against your objectives.

 Offer strategic support to your line manager and colleagues in BED to extend the reach of a campaign or an experience.

 Be an ambassador of the Harrods brand, the Marcomms Team and the Brand Experience Division.

Other

Key relationships: Work in partnership with the divisional Business Unit Director & GMM, Marcomms Planning Team, Group Marcomms Teanm – Product, Press Office, Performance Marketing Team, Events Team and wider BED Teams.

To be available for weekend and evening rota shifts as deemed appropriate by the business.
