Our Online Trade team is looking for someone to join on a 12 month industrial placement.  This is a very unique opportunity and you will be surrounded by a supportive team who want to help develop your working knowledge in this industry. 

This role needs to start on Monday 11th September 2023 and you must be able to start on this date.  Applications will close on Monday 28th August. 

About the Role

During this placement, you will gain an insightful understanding of how the various teams work cross-functionally and be able to use this with your continued education. 

In this Online Trade Placement, you will be accountable for providing administrative support to the Online Trading team, including research of the competitor landscape, visual merchandising of seasonal product pages, efficient management of product calendars, and supporting the online process to ensure customer journey is prioritised.

You will be responsible for data entry of product information into seasonal product planners; performing regular on-site checks of newly published lines; quality checks of product imagery and copy. The responsibilities in this online trade industrial placement will also include updating merchandise category pages; communicating all brand launches and status updates to the online trade and marketing teams; managing queries from vendors and using data from Google Analytics to identify insights and actions from reports. 

About You

You will have a true interest in the commerciality of fashion and the business process behind the success of online retail organisations. 

 

You will also have:

  • Essential: You must be able to evidence a requirement for work experience as part of your University-level course, otherwise called a ‘sandwich degree’.
  • Your degree will be field related to business of fashion, fashion marketing or business studies. 
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Be interested in retail, online retail and product trade.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar is ideal but not essential
