Our dedicated H beauty division is looking for an experienced Regional Marketing & Events Manager to own the store pillar of the H beauty marketing strategy.

H beauty is perfectly positioned as your local ‘go-to luxury beauty destination’, a place which offers the very best experience in the market. This new position underscores our commitment to creating those marketing leading experiences for our target customers across the UK.

About the Role

From our national Carnival campaigns through to market-leading partnerships and weekly event programmes, this role will lead the development and implementation of H beauty store-specific marketing plans through creating comprehensive event programming for each site and bringing brand activations to life.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing for H beauty, with a line into the Senior Events Manager, you will ensure that events are designed & delivered in accordance with Harrods’ standards of excellence. You will represent H beauty events in key steering groups and committees (incl. those in Knightsbridge 2-3 times per month), forging close working relationships with the wider Events team to share knowledge and best practice.

Your role will focus these key areas of responsibility and activity:

  • Operational Delivery: You will be super organised, being responsible for the end-to-end management of marketing, events and on-site execution of national store activities, incl.  overseeing coordination of all physical event execution logistics. This includes budget management.
  • End to end project management: On-site execution of national store activities – the key contact for external suppliers and brands during events, confidently making decisions and problem solving as required.
  • Marketing strategy: Creating a bespoke calendar of events for each H beauty site. Being mindful of the overarching strategic direction and brand positioning of H beauty, balancing this against the individual needs and opportunities of each H beauty location.
  • Leading a matrix team of cross functional disciplines: Creating and maintaining an environment of collaboration and coordination to deliver successful activations across the H beauty network.
  • Relationships: Building strong relationships with the General Managers of each H beauty store, as well as with the wider shopping centre management teams, to understand the nuances of each store, their customers, and how to use local insight to develop a comprehensive strategy for driving consideration and conversion for each store.

During peak event activation periods, you will be required to work approximately 6 consecutive weekends. This is to be across April & May, and then September & October. You will earn time in lieu (to be confirmed by your manager).  Regular travel to the H beauty sites will also be required, whilst your main base will be the Hammersmith head office with some time spent in Knightsbridge.

About You

You will have experience in organising large-scale events within the beauty industry. You are keen to manage everything from strategy through to operations and logistics with a proven track record of successful delivery. Ideally, you will come from a retail background and have an understanding of these inner machinations.  You are an inspirational leader with credibility and creativity.

You will also:

  • Be a problem solver and an ambitious, strategic thinker.
  • Keen to be operationally brilliant and like to be involved in the details.
  • Be able to mitigate issues and plan ahead.
  • Love to delivery and be focused on building excellent stakeholder relationships internally &  externally.
  • Be comfortable with public speaking and representing the division at internal functions.
