The Retail Services Manager is responsible for the consistent delivery of the service and employee strategy to achieve business goals whilst providing leadership for the respective services team. Leading on sales, commercial and operations activity, you’ll inspire your division to make the impossible possible, exceeding expectations while nurturing talent across your team.

About you

A human first leader, you’re a natural coach and can engage and galvanise a team into action whilst also ensuring a high level of service standards for customers. The Retail Services team is often the first point of contact and last experience a customer has of Harrods and its imperative that the service standards are befitting of the legacy of our brand.

Amongst the qualities that make you shine are:

  • Able to work flexibly across 5 days out of 7
  • You’re a relationship led leader and have proven performance coaching ability, ideally in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
  • A genuine “people person” with a passion for helping others learn and grow. You get a kick out of helping your team members succeed
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and self-awareness and ability to flex your style
  • Ability and confidence to analyse and interpret multiple data sources and take appropriate actions
  • Personally comfortable with ambiguity and change. We’re looking to you to help your team navigate changes across Retail and the business whilst maintaining high levels of engagement
  • Commercially astute, with a drive for results and brave enough to challenge the status quo – in the right way of course
  • Understanding of and a genuine interest in the luxury customer and their needs
  • Ability to story tell and bring ideas alive to explain the how-to colleagues
