Our Security team have a rare opening for a Project and Business Process Manager with Security project management experience to join the team. You will not only have the opportunity to lead multiple high budget projects, such as enhancing current security systems and processes but also offer guidance to store development projects from a security perspective.  

You will have a varied role juggling a mixture of key projects, from liaising with our internal stakeholders to maintaining relationships with our vendors and consultants. This is a fixed term contract for the duration of 12 months. This is a hybrid role based in our Knightsbridge office 4 days/week with 1 day work from home and occasional travel to our other sites.

About the Role 

This role will cover managing multiple security projects in the Harrods store in Knightsbridge and be involved with  H beauty stores, corporate headquarters, distribution centres projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management and report regularly on progress to senior business stakeholders. You will also deputize for the Lead Project and Business Process Manager in their absence. You will have the opportunity to lead projects that have a large impact on Harrods security operations. 

In this role you will:

  • Source vendors and partners for projects, manage projects as the client representative and deliver from inception to completion within the required time range and budget
  • Analyse and review costings and pitches presented by consultants and vendors for Harrods security related projects. Effectively facilitate relevant meetings and communicate with tact and clarity to all parties
  • Familiarise yourself with Harrods security policies & processes and recommend any enhancements where necessary
  • Effectively communicate with all relevant groups within Harrods e.g. Security and Store development, external partners and suppliers
  • Keep updated on industry insights

About You 


You will have a genuine interest in security project management and be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally. You will be pro-active and always driving things forward no matter how big or small.

You will also: 

  • Be professionally qualified with a project management qualification, either PRINCE2 or APM accredited qualification
  • Be practically experienced in project management from inception to completion
  • Have knowledge & experience in security project management
  • Have experience working in a luxury or retail environment is highly beneficial
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills allied with tact and diplomacy. Highly organised with strong analytical skills
  • Have strong IT Skills 
  • Be enthusiastic and confident with the determination to get the job done at all costs
