Due to our ongoing growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Process Manager to join our Supply Chain team looking at the end-end journey from packing and logistics through to customer delivery.

Working as part of the innovation team, you will have a varied role and be responsible for mapping out current processes, documenting and governing what we do, alongside identifying inefficiencies and gaps within current processes and driving forward improvements.

About the Role

You will work closely with subject matter experts and business process owners in areas including Buying & Merchandise, IT Business Solutions, Business Change and Finance, and have the opportunity to lead and monitor the different processes across our operation, from Thatcham which is home to our main distribution centre, to Trevor Square in Knightsbridge where our customers goods are packed and delivered straight after purchase.

You will ensure that all Supply Chain & Distribution processes are accurately documented, using  process mapping  tools  such  as  Signavio.  To  do  this,  you will own  and  manage  the Business Process Master List and complete the yearly Supply Chain Process Management Plan. You will collaborate with the Business Process Owners of Supply Chain & Distribution to review existing processes and ensure the documentation is correct, as well as work cross-functionally to support with the evaluation of new solutions, accurately documenting and publishing new process flows.

You will also…

  • Formally identify and work with a ‘team’ of Business Process Owners across Supply Chain & Distribution.
  • Yearly review of all existing process flows/documentation, achieving sign-off with the BPOs, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date and accessible by all relevant teams.
  • Test Plans and Results: Comprehensive test plans for existing processes by ‘walking-through’ with BPOs and producing reports that demonstrate successful validation of the physical process.
  • Evaluate  and  optimise  end-to-end  supply  chain  processes  for  efficiency  and  cost-effectiveness  by identifying opportunities for process improvement and the implementation of best practices.
  • Utilise SAP Signavio, ensuring that SAP best practice is maintained and that appropriate How to Guides and Training documents are linked to relevant processes in Signavio.
  • Work closely with the Solutions Manager and IT teams to identify and implement technological solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance  visibility across the supply  chain,  and  provide  a seamless
  • customer experience.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure adoption of new processes.

About You

You will have a strategic mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with all internal teams. We are open if you have gained experience in end-end supply chain and know a lot about it or if you have loads of business process mapping experience and are keen to bring that to the Supply Chain world where full training and support will be given.

You will have…

  • Proven experience in working cross functionally, facilitating workshops in order to map and document complex processes.
  • Experience in a Retail/Supply Chain & Distribution omnichannel business would be advantageous but not essential, we are open.
  • Able to quickly and confidently build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple functions of the Business.
  • Problem-solving  mindset,  with  a  proactive  approach  to  identifying  and  solving  operational  challenges.
  • A  self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and think creatively.
  • Strong negotiation skills when dealing with both internal and external parties.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related preferably.
  • Proven track record of implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks in a complex, global supply chain environment is also preferred.
