Transaction Assistant

That’s where the role of Transaction Assistant comes in.

About the role

As a Transaction Assistant you will be working alongside our Private Shoppers. You  will be responsible for a seamless client experience at point of sale.

Below are just a few of the things you will be responsible for:

• A smooth payment transaction process adhering to the Harrods Policy and Procedures.
• You will uphold the Harrods Values and strive to deliver the best luxury service at point of sale.
• Assisting the Private Shoppers with their client, this might be during an appointment or with payments afterwards.
• Arranging add on services such as alterations, gift wrapping, arranging a delivery and other services across the store.
• Investigating quotes for dispatch and delivery arrangements, both locally and internationally as required through our in-store specialist teams.

About you

In order to be successful for this role, you will possess the following skills and behaviours:

• You will be passionate about delivering the very best for our clients, and luxury service standards at all times.
• You will be able to multi-task within a busy environment.
• You will be knowledgeable in a range of currency.
• You will have a flexible approach to working within a large team, including assisting one or more Private shoppers at once.

• You will take the initiative and being able to think on your feet.
• You will be organised and methodical in your approach to any given task.
• You will be a team player and collaborative style.
