About the role

The Assistant Merchandisers role is to support the Merchandiser in effectively planning and trading across the relevant Division(s). As well as initiating and proposing actions through analysis of brand, category or attribute trading patterns in order to deliver KPIs.

Working closely with the Buying team, retail team and external stakeholders, you will also be responsible for:

• Managing option range planners using historical sales performance and planned OTB highlighting opportunities and risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Carrying out mid-season reviews to offer valuable analysis for the Merchandiser and Buyers to make strategic decisions for future season plans.
• Reforecasting in-season performance against plan, taking action in order to maximise profit return.
• Leading and coaching the planning process for departments of responsibility
• Suggesting best practices and techniques such as: utilizing range building, sizing, flow of stock and deliveries.
• Constantly review seasonal trade and take action to achieve KPIs.
