We have a fantastic opportunity for a Community Manager to join our dynamic Creative Content team here at Harrods. You will be integral in establishing engaging, highly-visible social programmes, campaigns and relationships that grow the brand globally.
About the Role
As a hands-on Community Manager, you’ll take charge of executing always-on community strategies for Harrods, driving global brand growth by continuously enhancing social reach and engagement. Your deep engagement with our social ecosystem will position you as the voice of our customers, crucial in strategically fostering advocacy and fostering loyalty.
You will also be responsible for:
- Adding the human touch to data-driven decisions, utilising social listening tools to find the most influential ambassadors to engage with.
- Collaborating with our Corporate Affairs team to maintain the brand’s reputation through social listening.
- Providing subject matter expertise to shape our global social strategy, fostering engage communities for Harrods.
- Managing and growing our social media communities with real-time responses to comments and messages.
- Identifying reactive content opportunities, trending topics and community interests discovered through social listening.
- Shaping Harrods tone of voice in a way that is suited to a diverse global community of customers.
- Contributing to weekly and monthly social media performance reports, analysing data and metrics and providing insight for social media activity/campaign results.
About You
You will have a proactive, positive, self-starting attitude coupled with a profound passion for social media and a knack for sparking engaging conversations with diverse global communities. You will have proven experience in community management, emphasising community growth and influencer activations, ideally within a fast-paced brand or company.
You will also:
- Have strong organisation skills with a keen eye for detail across complex operational processes.
- Have familiarity with tools for scheduling, reporting, publishing and analysing social media – experience with Sprinklr is essential.
- Have a thorough understanding of analytics and how this can be used to track and enhance performance.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across multiple teams as well as initiate and participate with the social community.
Given the nature of this role, occasional out-of-hours work is required, which is shared across the broader Social Media and Content teams.
