This new role will be responsible for curating, shaping and managing our growing content output in China – covering social media, the website and creative brand campaigns.

Our content is produced both in-market through agencies as well as here in the UK via our internal teams, as Editor you will bring together both avenues to ensure alignment, cohesion and most importantly an accurate presentation of our brand in this important market.

You will work closely with our International Marketing team to help bring their plans to life through creative content; managing the flow of work between our agencies in China and the internal creative teams – from art direction, styling, graphic design, photography and production. You will also oversee the management of our BAU communications channels, namely social media, our bespoke mini programs and the ecommerce website which will launch as harrods.cn in 2022.

About you

We are looking for a mid senior-level editor confident with sub-editing and approvals and excellent stakeholder management skills. You must have an agile mindset, able to manage evolving projects at pace and scale. Experience navigating the delicate nuances of marketing within China would be beneficial. You will have demonstrable experience working across all Chinese social media platforms and a strong technical ability (understanding of UX, social mechanics, etc) would be preferred but not essential.

We are looking for a candidate fluent in Mandarin and English; able to speak, write and edit in both languages. You will have an excellent understanding of luxury, with demonstrable experience as a creative brand guardian across digital touchpoints.
