Delivery Services Manager

The Delivery Services Manager is a key member of the Knightsbridge Distribution Management team and is responsible for all store deliveries being dispatched within our agreed SLAs. They manage the Delivery Services Team track all deliveries, follow up on delivery-related complaints and queries and ensure our internal and external customers are kept up to date. The job holder is also responsible for all service reports within our Intelligent Shipper delivery database and managing all delivery failures with our third-party suppliers.

About You

The job holder needs to have a passion for distribution and the drive to provide the level of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for and build trust and mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

You will work closely with management colleagues in other areas of Distribution to ensure that the SLAs are adhered to and that KPIs are achieved and you will encourage support for other operations as a mechanism to streamline costs by promoting cross-training and assistance.

You will ensure all relevant delivery and customs information is communicated to the Retail teams when necessary and escalate any relevant issues to the Operations Manager. You will hold regular team meetings, advising on Department and Company performance and briefing on upcoming events to encourage and utilize feedback from the team.
