We are looking for a versatile food and lifestyle writer to create and craft copy across a range of digital channels, covering everything from food and wine to homewares and interior design.

As the digital food and lifestyle writer, you will manage and produce site-wide copy, online editorial, social captions and digital marketing copy that supports several of our key areas of business: food and beverage, hospitality and restaurants, the homewares departments, and our interior design services. You will work closely with the publishing team as we work to align our stories across on/offline channels, transposing magazine content for digital channels where relevant.

Your work will always be:

  • trading relevant – whether promoting e-commerce messages or in-store activations
  • inspiring and engaging – in order to capture the attention of an option-rich digital customer
  • and of course, on brand – reflecting the values and tone of voice of Harrods at all times

An inventive storyteller at heart, this writer must also have a keen sense of consumer behaviour and how to create successful content for a retail customer. Their product knowledge must be excellent and they should be bursting with ideas on how to invigorate perennial shopping stories and familiar trade pushes.
