Inventory Optimisation Manager- Stock Control Manager

Our Distribution team are currently looking for an Inventory Optimisation/Stock Control Manager to drive forward our stock control process in the warehouse, managing a team of Inventory Optimisation Analysts and Inventory Associates. This role is vital to maintaining stock integrity across the business.

You and your team will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis and insight into stock-related issues, and you will work closely with senior management to develop and implement effective improvement strategies. 

About the Role  

You will be responsible for the stock integrity of Distribution. You will do this through the day-to-day management of the Perpetual Inventory counts across the Knightsbridge and Thatcham Warehouses as well as ensuring the timely processing of all Stock Adjustments, Stock Corrections and Delivery Error Forms.

You will also be responsible for:   
 

• Generating insight on stock integrity throughout the internal supply chain. 

• Capacity Planning.

• Providing insight on industry best practice for Innovative Storage Solutions.  

• Generating insight on stock placement & retrieval. 

• Informing management of the ideal picking location for all stock. 

• Produce and manage cost to budgets in line with business performance. 

About You  

You will be confident leading stock control and integrity, and liaising with colleagues from various departments across Harrods, agreeing deadlines and ensuring they are met. As a role model of the Harrods Values, you will inspire and motivate your team through your leadership and example.

You should be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role.
