IT Project Manager

We are seeking a strong, dynamic and fresh thinking Project Manager who will ensure the delivery of Harrods’ retail, digital & eCommerce projects, and also as necessary provide support to Harrods IT projects outside of the digital domain. 

About the role

This role will provide project management expertise and lead internal and external teams from a variety of technical & business disciplines to deliver new systems and functionality to the business. This will not only involve the production of detailed plans and project documentation but also continual leadership of the project team through the provision of support and guidance. 

The Digital Project Manager’s prime responsibility is to ensure that all organisational procedures are adhered to, objectives are set and met, and that all benefits are fully realised from the implementation of the change.  Successful delivery will be achieved through adapting both agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

About you

We are looking for someone with rounded Project Management experience who holds a formal Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 Practitioner or MSP, and has demonstrable experience managing delivery through all stages of the project lifecycle. You will have knowledge of digital commerce and digital retail operations, as well as delivery experience using Agile and the ability to integrate Agile delivery within a standard project framework.

As you will be following specific governance processes (reporting planning, using tools ETC), you will have strong governance, as well as planning and control skills. Finally, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship management skills, as you will work closely with Internal and external stakeholders throughout the business to ensure the project stays on track at all times
