In Harrods Fine Watches, precision, care, and craftsmanship are paramount. Every timepiece that leaves our workshop must meet the flawless standards of Rolex and that’s where you come in.

Reporting to the Oyster Team Manager, the Oyster Technician will play a vital role in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Service Centre, ensuring every timepiece is cased, tested, and finished to perfection before it continues its service journey.

About the Role 

As an Oyster Technician, you’ll be responsible for the careful handling and assembly of luxury timepieces, following strict Rolex Standard Operating Procedures. Your role will combine technical expertise with precision craftsmanship, ensuring the highest quality results for our discerning clients.

In addition to this, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Correctly casing all timepieces after servicing, in line with Rolex Standard Operating Procedures for each model
  • Carrying out waterproof testing to Rolex standards
  • Completing all required paperwork and attaching relevant testing documentation
  • Allocating all spare parts used to the correct job cards
  • Performing Rolex “Quick Service” tasks such as bracelet, strap, and link adjustments
  • Providing training to new starters in the wider department.

This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

About You 

You will be a technically skilled watch professional with a deep understanding of Rolex servicing standards. You’ll bring precision, patience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, ensuring every timepiece meets the highest expectations.

You will also:

  • Hold Rolex Level 20 Accreditation (required)
  • Have mechanical watch movement knowledge
  • Understand luxury customer expectations and requirements
  • Be proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities and high levels of concentration
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent organisational and communication skills
