Assistant Manager - Nights

Our Thatcham Distribution team is looking for Assistant Manager to support the manager in the running of the night team ensuring that all KPI’s, objectives and customer expectations are met. The Assistant Manager should act as a role model for the rest of the team and actively promote and maintain Harrods values whilst striving for excellence from there team. Deputize for the Manager in all activity their absence. To manage and assist with the development of the talent within the team.

This position works a 4 on 4 off working pattern.

Our 340,000 square foot warehouse is at the heart of our international distribution service and a key cog in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

About You

You will ensure that standards are being reviewed regularly in line with the business SLA’s and daily operations are conducted within continual training/development of all members of the team. This will include documented performance monitoring, coaching and development of the team as well as conducting annual/quarterly performance.

Someone who is prepared to adopt the role of manager when needed and carry out projects, monitor and address underperforming issue, highlight exceptional performance and always ensuring that queries are resolved in a timely manner.

It would be ideal to be fully conversant with using SAP, Workday, Teams, Yammer, Hub and all other company platforms.
