Digital Developer

Harrods  has a remote based opportunity for a  Digital  Developer  to  join  the  Digital  Technology Development  team.

About the role

Working  across the full development lifecycle and technology stack, you will work as part of an agile team who are responsible for  building  innovative  web-based  applications  targeting  a  variety  of  devices  from  desktop,  through  to  tablet and mobile. Exciting  innovation  projects  will  be  included  in  your  remit  as  we  look  to  identify  ways  to  apply  technology  to drive  customer  engagement,  develop  innovative  products  or  services,  as  well  as  looking  across  the organisation to identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency.

About you

We are looking for someone with a passion for new technology and industry trends, and through rapid prototyping be able to bring your ideas to life.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Full stack development
• Knowledge of C# application development using .NET, JavaScript, C#, SQL
• Knowledge of core front-end technologies - Vue, React and Angular
• Understanding of structured development and build environments
• Working experience with Git
• Experience building web services
• Experience with algorithms and software design
• Knowledge of coding practices
