Home Delivery Driver

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our Distribution team in Knightsbridge.

The job holder will provide an effective and efficient delivery service ensuring the highest standard of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.
As an experienced Delivery Driver, you will have an appreciation for great service as you will be responsible for the reduction of returns by ensuring the correct handling of all merchandise when loading and delivering. 

Working as one half of a double manned delivery team, whilst sometimes you will be working alone, you will provide an effective and efficient Home Delivery Service, ensuring the highest standard of customer service excellence for which Harrods is renowned. You will work within the London area, driving deliveries to our customers all year round. You will also be required to assist our other delivery teams as and when required.

About you

Diligent and proactive, you will ensure the correct handling of all merchandise when loading, delivering and assembling furniture products. Remaining fully acquainted with the company’s Fleet Insurance policy and adhering to all road regulations, you will approach your role in a safe and conscientious manner and a customer focus. You'll be an experienced driver used to working to deadline and delivering excellent customer service.

An expert communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will demonstrate excellent customer service when dealing with both internal and external parties.
To succeed in the role you will need to possess sound knowledge of London and the Home Counties. You must hold a clean driving licence and a Digital Tachograph Smart Card.

Please note: this role will require the lifting and movement of heavy items, as well as flexibility regarding shift patterns, including weekends.
