Product Catalogue Operations Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for a Product Catalogue Operations Manager to join the Harrods team.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract for maternity cover.

About the Role

As the Product Catalogue Operations Manager you will be managing teams of analysts who will effectively and efficiently manage the day to day operating activities required to make and maintain the product catalogue across our landscape. You will be covering areas such as product inception, logistics & supply data, online publishing, discontinuation, and eventually archiving.

This role will require you to work with both internal stakeholders and with our brand partners to make sure we create successful products and maintain the accurate catalogues in order to meet our data quality standards.

You will also:

• Contributes to financial and operational planning for the department.
• Manage user expectations via regular communication, particularly with senior stakeholders in the business regarding the current health of the product catalogue.
• Build and maintain an effective relationship with key stakeholders in the business.
• Provide clear performance monitoring and reporting to ensure functional teams are always aware of the current size, shape, and quality of the product catalogue and our kept up to date with progress improvements.

About You

You will be an organised leader, ready to assist in the planning and management of our vendor on-boarding plans to ensure the operating team is prepared to transition them into service.

You will have strong Data Management and Data Admin experience with large data sets, along with excellent analytical skills, and the ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders.  

As the Product Catalogue Operations Manager you will have strong communication skills both written and verbal. You will be results-driven with strong analytical and problem solving abilities to help support the Harrods buying & merchandising teams operate effectively.   

You will also:

• Be self-efficient by showing your ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work and make day-today decisions on the running of the team.
• Be resilient, flexible and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity while having the ability to clearly prioritise tasks and communicate a plan of action.
• Be a leader who can contribute to Harrods evolution in to a data driven organisation.
