About The Role

We are looking for a Learning Manager who will be solely dedicated to supporting our Restaurants and Kitchens division at Harrods. This role will make a significant contribution to the division’s ambition of Harrods becoming a Global Leading Dining Destination – and will primarily oversee the new starter experience for Restaurants and Kitchens colleagues; and lead on strategic learning projects.

A key element of this role will be to assess learning and development needs, to develop and administer training schedules and learning experiences across the Restaurants and Kitchens portfolio, with the ultimate aim to help colleagues and managers develop the skills and knowledge to perform at their best in-role and deliver results.

This role will also be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of the R&K onboarding process and continuously improving learning processes, providing monthly reports on all R&K learning activity.

This is an on-site role based predominantly in Knightsbridge (within the R&K operation), with regular days in Harrods Headquarters (with the L&D team) in Hammersmith, and will include occasional weekend work.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Hospitality/Restaurants and Kitchen industry as well as a passion for helping people to learn, grow and develop. These are some of the qualities that you’ll bring with you:

  • Experience in scoping, designing, and delivering learning projects, programmes and experiences end-to-end
  • Experience in learning facilitation, both face to face and virtually
  • Expert understanding of adult learning design principles and best practices
  • A good grasp of learning evaluation and analysing data
  • Able to work with our current processes whilst also looking at ways we can improve in conjunction with our Restaurants and Kitchen strategy
  • Experience in digital learning functionality (our LMS is Workday Learning)
  • Have the ability to take the lead on R&K apprenticeships
  • Stakeholder management 
  • Project management
